I'm a musician, a mediator, and a podcaster, though if you'd asked me twenty years ago I'd have only claimed one of those.

Through Greco Media I work on music production, editing, mixing, and mastering. It's the part of my work where I get to be quiet and precise, where the goal is to serve someone else's creative vision and make it sound like the version they hear in their head.

Through Greco Mediation, practicing as John Greco and Associates, I help people work through conflict, divorces, business disputes, the kinds of conversations that get harder the longer you avoid them. It's the part of my work where I get to listen carefully and take both sides seriously at the same time.

And through the Notional Inquiry podcast, and the writings on this site, I get to think out loud about how those threads connect. Music, mediation, attention, conversation, the strange business of being a person paying attention to other people. Some episodes are solo inquiries; others are conversations with a guest who knows the territory better than I do. That's what I'm here to talk about.

Thanks for stopping by.
