The Podcast
Notional Inquiry
Ideas worth mulling over, on curiosity, work, conversation, and the questions that don't resolve neatly.
The format
Two kinds of episodes
Notional Inquiry comes in two shapes, and they trade off as the subject calls for it. Some questions are best chewed on alone; others only really open up with someone else in the room.
Solo inquiries
Just me, thinking out loud
A single idea, worked through from a few angles, closer to an essay you can listen to. Usually the shorter of the two.
Conversations
With a guest
A back-and-forth with someone who knows the territory, where the interesting turns come from not knowing where we'll land.

Test Case: Design for Quality Products
A conversation with Michael "Gonzo" Gonzales, and the first one out of the gate, a longer "first cut" than the show will usually run while I found the shape of it. A look at what designing for quality really asks of you, and the questions that surfaced along the way.
More episodes are on the way, solo inquiries and guest conversations both. Subscribe on your platform of choice above so they show up automatically.
